Karuna Welfare and Development Society (KWDS) is dedicated to transforming lives through the power of skill development. We believe that education and skill-building are the cornerstones of a progressive, self-reliant society. In alignment with the National Skill Development Mission (NSDM) and the vision of a Skilled India (Skill India Mission), our initiatives are designed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, especially among underprivileged and marginalized communities.

Our Objectives:

Our core belief is simple: "Skills are the stepping stones to success." We aim to provide vocational training, technical know-how, and livelihood-oriented skill programs that empower individuals—especially youth and women—to become employable, self-sustained, and confident contributors to society.

1. Provide Accessible Skill Training: To deliver affordable and localized vocational training to rural and urban poor, especially school dropouts, unemployed youth, women, and persons with disabilities.

2. Promote Employability: To ensure participants become job-ready and are placed in gainful employment through industry-aligned courses and soft skills training.

3. Entrepreneurship Development: To nurture entrepreneurial abilities by offering business-oriented programs, mentoring, and financial literacy training.

4. Women Empowerment: To support women with tailor-made skill programs in tailoring, beauty and wellness, handicrafts, etc., making them self-reliant.

5. Sustainable Livelihood Promotion: To link skill development with income-generating opportunities, self-employment schemes, and micro-enterprises.

6. Digital Literacy: To equip communities with basic and advanced digital skills necessary in today's fast-paced digital economy.
